Yahya Karaoğulları
AI Visibility Strategist and Consultant
Yahya Karaoğulları is an AI Visibility Strategist who helps B2B and expert-led brands build the identity AI systems need to understand, trust, and recommend them, using the H.I.T. Framework© (Human, Intelligent, Trusted).
Architect of AI Visibility Optimization (AIVO) and creator of the H.I.T. Framework©.
What I do
When someone asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity or Google AI Overviews who to trust in your category, the answer is assembled from what those systems can find, read and verify about you.
My work is to make that material exist, agree with itself everywhere it appears and be confirmed by sources you do not control. Then I measure, every month, whether AI systems name you and describe you correctly.
How this differs from SEO
SEO earns a position on a list. AI visibility earns a mention inside an answer. Your ranking pages still matter, but an AI system also needs to know who you are, what you do and whether other sources agree.
AI Visibility Optimization (AIVO) is the overarching discipline; GEO and AEO are practices within it. If you want more traffic, SEO is the better investment. If you want to be described correctly when your buyers ask AI, that is AIVO.
How I work: the H.I.T. Framework©
The H.I.T. Framework© is the execution model of AIVO. Every engagement is checked against the 11 requirements of the H.I.T. Protocol, its public working specification.
Human
Narrative clarity. One canonical description of who you are, what you do and for whom.
Intelligent
Machine readability. Structured data and consistent profiles, so every mention resolves to one identity.
Trusted
Corroboration. Independent mentions and verifiable references on sources you do not control.

Background
For more than a decade I have written brand narratives, offers and strategic content across aviation, hospitality, real estate, retail, travel and consumer goods. Brands I have written for include Air Canada, Liberty Hotels, RE/MAX, Yataş Bedding, Eminevim, Obilet, Pınar and Beypazarı.
That work taught me the rule this whole field now runs on: if a brand cannot be described clearly in one sentence, nobody repeats it, people or machines.
Today my work runs on two tracks. For local businesses in Turkey, I build visibility on Google and AI assistants, where being found and described correctly turns directly into phone calls. For B2B and expert-led brands, I run AIVO engagements internationally.
I documented the conceptual model behind AIVO in a research paper, From Search Visibility to AI Recommendation: A Conceptual Model of Interpretable Brand Identity for AI Systems.
I measure my own name the way I measure clients’: a fixed question panel across four AI engines, every month. The first baseline, in October 2026, named me zero times. The method and the results are published in The Citation Is Not the Click.
Who this is for
- B2B and expert-led brands whose buyers ask AI before they call
- Founders and experts who are known in their market but missing or misdescribed in AI answers
